Guidance & Support

Please be reminded, if an individual is symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if you're classified as extremely vunerable on health ground, the guidance is that you should remain at home.

Help Keep our Players and Coaches Safe

SAFE

Bring your own drink clearly labelled.


All footballs will be cleaned after each session.


No player will be asked to collect any equipment and all equipment will be cleaned
after each session.

DISTANCE

Groups of 5 players + coach.


Potential for 2 or more groups with the same coach.


2m rule will be consistently applied.

NO CONTACT

Drop off & collection points at each session.


Time changes to ensure safety for all.


Each coach will have hand sanitiser for players to use before and after sessions.

Help Keep our Players and Coaches Safe

Please let your coach know whether your son/daughter will be training at least 24 hours before each session.


Please speak to your son / daughter about the importance of the 2m rule.


All players must bring their own drink that is easily identifiable to them.


Sessions will be non-contact working on developing ball skills and fitness.


Players will be put into groups. This will be communicated prior to each session.


Each group will be released at different times at the end of the session to minimise gatherings in car parks or access areas.


We ask all adults to respect the 2m distancing rule at all times and not to enter the training area.


Should you or a member of your household display symptoms please inform your coach as soon as possible.


If a question or conversation is needed with the coach, please communicate via phone at an appropriate time.

Coaches will offer players hand sanitiser before and after each session. Please let your coach know before the session if you do not wish your child to use the sanitiser supplied by the club. We are happy for your child to bring their own, but this must be placed with their items and not be shared.

Coaches Brief

Coaches will keep 2m distance from players at all times


Coaches will consistently apply the 2m rule during sessions although some of our players may inadvertently forget at times


Coaches will use their own football not a players if a demonstration is required


Coaches will ensure the first aid kit is available by the training area Coaches will ensure all equipment is cleaned before and after each session

If any coach displays symptoms, they will inform the club secretary and must follow the government guidelines around testing and self isolation before being allowed to recommence sessions

Parents & Guardians Brief

(In Line with FA Guidance)

We know players are excited to return but in order to keep it safe for all please do not arrive too early before the session.


Please adhere to the 2m social distancing rule at all times whilst on club grounds When dropping off and collecting you child, please do not enter the training area with them.


No player to enter the training area more than 5 minutes before starting.


Coaches will consistently apply the 2m rule during sessions although parents need to be aware that some of our players may inadvertently forget at times Please do not approach the coach before, during or after the session.


Please make contact at an appropriate time via phone call or message if the matter is urgent.


Coaches will only approach parents or guardians if there has been an incident involving your child.


The coach may also call you after the session with any other issues These measures are in place to reduce over crowding of all areas

First Aid

(In Line with FA Guidance)

As always, the safety of our players is paramount. Each coach will have their teams first aid bag within the training area.


Players will be encouraged to self-administer treatment for minor knocks under the supervision of the coach whilst adhering to the 2m rule.


At the end of the session the player will be escorted to the responsible adult by the coach to handover about the incident whilst adhering to the 2m rule.


The coach will report the incident to the club via email to be recorded in the injury book. For more serious injuries, players will be treated by the coach who is FA First Aid trained. Each coach has PPE in the teams first aid kit, and will ensure this is worn at all times.
